The Brothers Flanagan
The Flanagan Project
Theater, 120 minutes
Philly Fringe
The Flanagan brothers, Michael Toner and Michael Walls, have run a Philly pub for decades, but a degenerate serial killer is ruining their business as frightened customers cower at home. Add an arrogant drunk and a cop desperate to land the killer. Stir. Do not shake. Really, do not shake.
Bill Rolleri’s The Brothers Flanagan premieres on September 5, 2009 and runs for 10 performances at Fergie’s Pub with a “buy one entrée get one free” offer before or after the show.

This off-the-wall, whacko Irish pub play features an exceptional, professional cast: Chris Fluck, Jerry Rudasill, and veteran theater artists Michael Toner and H. Michael Walls, who play pub-owner Flanagan brothers Francis and Samuel. The “two Michaels” participated in prior readings at InterAct Theatre and the Cosmopolitan Club, and Toner goes back to the first staged reading as a finalist in the InterAct’s New Play Festival. Rounding out the company are a top-notch director, John Bellomo; outstanding designers Josh Schulman, lights, Aaron Oster, sound, Fergie himself, pub design; and producer Steve Hatzai.
