Volunteer

YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES

In the year-round season there are many opportunities to stay involved through Live Arts special events like Scratch Night, Meet The Artists, & Jumpstart to name a few. In order to keep our programs accessible and support local artists, we rely on the generosity of our supporters with financial contributions or with volunteering their time. In addition we sometimes have special events that are invite-only (like VIP events), so it is also a chance to get a look behind the scenes at events that are not open to the public.

• Ushers: help with seating, foot traffic
• Ticket Sellers: sell or scan tickets at the door
• Snack & drink serving: set-up tables and re-stock during event
• Photographers: take photos of patrons and events

Festival Opportunities

Before the Festival, we need volunteers for guide and postcard distribution all over the city. During the Festival, volunteers can earn ticket vouchers by performing these important roles:

• Ushers: take tickets, hand out programs at shows + help house manager as needed
• Ticket Sellers: sell tickets for a single performance
• Fire Watch: sit at fire exits + provide evacuation assistance in the event of an emergency
• Special Events: bartend and/or serve food at receptions, parties + other events
• Box Office Greeter: sit outside the box office and answer any questions about the Festival to those who pass by
• Floaters: help out in the volunteer office as needed

Volunteers earn a Live Arts Festival ticket voucher for each shift.
